1971 BMW 2800 CS 4 speed manual transmission

-Verona Red with Black leather interior and Grey German square weave carpeting, 3.5 liter 6-cylinder, 5-speed Manual transmission, Alpina road wheels, Alpina pedals, Momo Prototipo steering wheel with Alpina badge, sympathetically restored and modified from a low original mileage example. Initially released as the 2800 CS model M30 six-cylinder engine with bodywork built by Karmann. The BMW E9 model range was produced from 1968 to 1975. The E9 was extremely successful having raced primarily in the European Touring Car Championship. In late 1971, the 2800CS was replaced by the 3.0 CS and 3.0 CSi. This 2800 CS enjoyed long term California ownership prior to being consigned to the Gooding and Company, 2020 Amelia Island auction.
