1997 Land Rover Defender 90. Land Rover 16-inch five-spoke alloy wheels are wearing nice Michelins with 2020 date codes. Exterior lighting has been upgraded to LED.This D90 was equipped from the factory with a 2.5 liter 300Tdi, the most desirable of the Land Rover turbo Diesel engines. It's mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case with a locking center diff. We've driven plenty of D90s with decidedly clunky gearboxes, but on this one both the transmission and transfer case operation is nice and smooth. The 300Tdi runs great.
