1964 356 Porsche 356C Coupe to cabriolet conversion
Here we have a 356C coupe to cabriolet conversion done sometime in the past. Someone got out the welder and converted a coupe into a cabriolet using original cabriolet metal including windshield frame, cowl, and rear body skin from a wreck, but the car retains the coupe Chassis Number/VIN. The doors are from a coupe. They also put new floors and battery box in the car. The top frame is a new reproduction imported from Italy. The engine is dis-assembled and only comes with the parts pictured, not complete but a good start to a period correct engine. There is a small dent/crease on the top of the driver's side fender, please look closely at the pics to see the damage. The car is not complete but has the majority of the components to get started on the build, everything that is included is pictured so please study the pictures closely to get a true idea of the project. Car comes with both the softtop frame and the pictured Factory Hardtop. You'll never win a concours in this car but it would make a great Sunday cruiser with disc brakes and the top down. Don't miss out!
