1970 Dodge Challenger 318ci Fully Restored stunning condition
Beautiful 1970 Dodge Challenger that was fully ground up restored and in stunning condition!! This car is just out of long term ownership with the same owner for the last 30 years with 63,000 original miles!! It went through a long restoration where everything disassembled and put back together just like stock everything was either new or rebuilt. The previous owner told me this is a numbers matching 318CI V8 4bbl!! Also has a 727 auto transmission and 8 3/4 rear end. It runs and sounds great - was rebuilt to 340 specs for a little more power. The transmission shifts great through all gears. It drives straight and rides smooth down the road. I was going 70-75 MPH on the highway this week and it is a blast to drive. This is a factory air conditioning car. It was professionally repainted Lemon Twist Yellow and it shines like a mirror. The body is lazor straight and was told had no rust ever. It was repainted about 6 years ago and was rarely driven only to car shows and always kept in the garage under the cover which comes with the car. The body lines are very straight, everything opens and shuts with ease. The bumpers are like new still, all of the trim still looks great as well. The vinyl top has no rust under it and looks excellent. The wheels are tires are in fantastic condition. It has headers with dual exhaust exiting the rear. The glass is original and in beautiful condition. The family said this is a first place winner at many car shows. It gets a lot of attention and thumbs up everywhere it goes. The interior is also restored and looks great. The dash has no cracks, still has factory gauges that work great. Has a beautiful wood grain steering wheel. The carpet and headliner are in excellent condition. Seats have just minimal wear and door panels have no cracks or fades. Still has its original FM radio that works and sounds great. All of the lights, gauges, horn, wipers, etc work great. The engine compartment is nice and detailed ready to show. The trunk looks beautiful and still has its original spare tire and jack. The underside is original and very solid appears to still have factory zebarting on it!! Always kept in a climate controlled garage with a cover on it (fitted car cover comes with the car.) A lot of money and time invested into this car! This car is a true Mopar time capsule and will keep climbing in value for many years to come.
