Completely restored 1957 Mercedes 220S Ponton sedan. Titled as 1958.
I touched ever single part on this car. Rebuilt the engine. The front subframe down to bare metal and powder coated and replace all bushing/bearing. Same for the rear axle assembly. I inspected everything and checked it against NOS factory replacement or reconditioning. I only used acceptable replacement parts when deemed a factory replacement i.e.. heater boxes. I used a ruff undercoating and inside the trunk which was done by the body shop. I had a donor car that was 100% original for the upholstery shop to use for reference. Palo alto speedometer did the speedo and clock. Becker did the radio. All rubber was replaced in the car including behind body panels and all glass, this alone cost $10,000. The chrome is absolutely stunning on this car. Interior smells like it should of rich leather.
