The car was restored frame off in 2010 to 2011 and over $40,000 was spent on the restoration. During the restoration it was upgraded to the preferred 1800 engine, mated with a 5 speed transmission and converted to front disc brakes for added driving safety and pleasure. Other choice upgrades include hardened valve seats, 12V conversion, wooden steering wheel and electronic ignition. The car presents very well and drives nice. Convertible top is almost like new.
