1987 Plymouth Gran Fury Salon

Plymouth's third-generation Gran Fury made its debut for 1982. Downsizing was sweeping across the industry at the time and switching to the M platform made the sedan almost 17 inches shorter than its predecessor. Buyers could choose between Chrysler's Slant-Six engine and the time-tested "LA" V8 engine, and the Salon model was marketed as a more upscale alternative to the standard Gran Fury.
