For sale is this beautiful 1957 Ford Thunderbird Red Convertible w/White Hardtop V8 312 5.1 Liter Engine.
Car is original with 18k miles. Engine did have top end rebuilt.
Removed and replaced steering gear and inner and outer tie rods Removed and replaced power steering pump Removed and replaced pinion seal Removed and replaced Trans pan gasket Removed and replaced oil pan gasket Removed and replaced battery Removed and rebuilt generator Automatic transmission oil pan Neutral safety switch Tie rod end inner LH Tie rod adjusting sleeve Contact Set (Points) Oil filter adaptor plate & seal kit Replaced oil filter adaptor plate Left exhaust manifold replace with new manifold & gaskets Right exhaust manifold removed for resurface & new gaskets This features 2 tops both the original white hardtop and also soft top. This has the 312 Engine with 4-Barrel Carburetor. Car features AM/FM/Cassette Radio. Also features aftermarket Air conditioner and it works great and blows cold !! A real nice install looks like it came from the factory. Original paint. There are two small tiny 3/8" scratches on the right passenger side door. Car looks and runs great !! Always stored in garage and covered when in garage. Has the original tire change instructions mounted inside the trunk. For the 1957 model year, the front bumper was reshaped, the grille and tailfins were made larger, and larger taillights were fitted. The spare wheel moved back inside the trunk, which had been redesigned to allow it to be mounted vertically. The side "Thunderbird" script was moved from the fins to the front fenders.
