1966 Ford Falcon Pro Touring Coyote Swap Dark Blue Metallic 1504 Miles
1966 Ford Falcon is one of the most attractive and seldom-seen American cars from the '60s. But it's not the history that makes it irresistible; it's all the modern upgrades. This is a full restomod/pro-touring build with a loaded leather interior, cold-blowing A/C, an upgraded suspension, a five-speed, and an awesome Coyote V8 fuel-injected V8 heart. The third-generation Falcon is arguably one of Ford's best designs of the era. After all, it takes the American Coke-bottle sheet metal styling and adds some European flair to the proportions. It makes for a great base for a custom build. The consignor did this at his shop. That's why you have terrific details like the way the straight panels are showcased by a tasteful dark blue. This sleek paint also has a ton of metallic in it, and that makes it really pop in the sunshine. Complementing the gloss is the radiant style of the grille, trim, and chrome bumpers. You may just mistake this for a restoration done to vintage standards... if you don't look at the rear wheels. Those polished Weld Racing alloys tuck into the car nicely so that the ultra-wide rear rubber can almost go incognito. The interior was part of this car's full restoration/transformation, and with only about 1,500 miles on the full build, it continues to look basically brand new. And the full package is a beautiful style with saddle-like leather and alligator skin inserts. It makes for a distinct and premium two-tone on the doors, dash, center console, trunk, and seats. And speaking of the seats, those are modern front buckets that have plenty of bolstering and even adjust to your ideal position. You have the best in modern features like cold-blowing air conditioning, power windows, cup holders, and an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB and Bluetooth. While this one is luxurious, the custom setup also reminds you it's a performance car. The rear seats were sacrificed for weight savings and firring the upgraded tires. And you have a commanding driver's position with a Hurst shifter, a Grant sports steering wheel, a tilt column, and an upgraded full gauge package. One look at the engine bay, and you can tell this is something far more modern powering this classic Falcon. They kept it in the Ford family when looking for a new powerhouse, and they really picked out one of the best.
